We are delighted to introduce our newly revamped Key Stage 1 session – Discovering the Victorians!
We will bring the past to life for children, introducing them to the characters of Lark Hill Place and recreating the atmosphere of Victorian Salford. Pupils will learn about the Victorian Washday with a costumed facilitator and take part in a hands-on demonstration.
Our new session has been designed so pupils have much more time playing with our selection of Victorian toys, looking at modern toys and comparing old and new.
There is also an opportunity to visit our famous Victorian street – Lark Hill Place – please note that this is a self led element which we will support with some specially designed activities to help you make the most of your visit.

We can accommodate a maximum of 35 pupils for this session.
Half Day Session
Half day sessions run 10am – 12pm or 1-3pm, with the option to extend your visit by staying for lunch or doing teacher-led activities in our galleries.
